Maintenance Technician Grounds/Facilities

 The primary function of the Maintenance Technician – Grounds / Facilities is the efficient maintenance of the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Brewery Ommegang location. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for providing landscaping and grounds / facilities maintenance as directed by department supervisor.

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure brewery buildings are presentable, inviting, and adhere to our curb appeal standards at all times
  • Ensure lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treat for weeds; weed whip; rake leaves; plant flowers/shrubs; trim shrubs, trees, and hedges; and perform other lawn care services as necessary
  • Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily from public areas and streets
  • Empty common area trash containers as needed
  • Maintain building appearance, painting, and pressure washing
  • Snow and ice removal from the grounds
  • Maintain, repair, clean, and properly store equipment
  • Observe safety rules and ensure compliance with the operating procedures of corporate, federal, state ,and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Safety and Environmental guidelines
  • Work safely and comply with the Company’s safety procedures, including but not limited to, wearing steel-toed shoes, back braces, hard hats, gloves, eye and ear protection, and follow uniform dress code
  • Assist in hop harvest
  • Work effectively with others to accomplish tasks

  KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Self-motivated – able to stay on task with little to no prompts
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Company-issued equipment operation certifications
  • Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, but not limited to, shovels, picks, rakes, sledge hammers, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and leaf blowers
  • Previous snow removal experience, including operating a snow plow, preferred
  • Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Availability to respond to brewery needs during non-business hours (required to be on-call)
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and brewery visitors

Market Manager - OK

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end luxury beer segment.  We are currently seeking a Market Manager to oversee the Oklahoma territory.  The preferred candidate will live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Oklahoma City or Tulsa area.   Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities of wholesalers within assigned area of responsibility, ensuring the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio
  • Motivate distributor management and sales force in order to achieve sales objectives, including the development and oversight of wholesaler incentive programming
  • Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines across distribution channels
  • Identify core accounts that are not being penetrated with Duvel USA products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
  • Collect data on distributor pricing, distribution, volume, and general market information
  • Compile and submit reports required for the sales division
  • Operate effectively within corporate and budgetary guidelines
  • Conduct wait-staff/bartender educations, beer tastings, and beer dinners
  • Ensure proper merchandising of on- and off-premise accounts
  • Plan and execute on-premise promotions as required
  • Be responsible for the allocation and use of all point-of-sale materials
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off premise
  • Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption
  • Train, schedule, and manage 3rd party sampling teams
  • Track and monitor progress in all identified accounts
  • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising, and promotion of malt beverages

 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three-to-five years malt beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a wine or beer distributor
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management at wholesale as well as retail
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct staff trainings, and evening functions
  • Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
  • A competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results

Packaging Line Operator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in areas of packaging/warehouse duties in accordance with departmental duties and policies to ensure the quality of company products by performing the following duties and possessing the requirements
  • Assist and/ or perform in bottling line production and product packaging 
  • Assist and/or perform in the repacking of product
  • Assist and/or perform in all shipping and receiving duties as necessary
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Adhere to all company safety policies   
  • Assure that you are not attempting to operate equipment on which you are not properly trained
  • Running packaging equipment including setup changeover and shutdown
  • Assure equipment is well maintained and functioning properly
  • Perform operator-level maintenance on equipment
  • Notify the packaging lead of maintenance requirements above operator level
  • Confirm that all machines are locked out and tagged out when being serviced
  • Responsible for notifying the packaging manager if anybody is acting in an unsafe manner
  • Perform periodic visual checks to assure the quality of the finished product in accordance with the quality checklist
  • Correct any nonconforming packaging issues and notify the packaging lead or packaging manager of the issue
  • All operators must be present and ready to perform their duties by the scheduled time and available to work a minimum of 2 hours overtime if required
  • All breaks must be approved by the packaging lead
  • Inform the packaging lead if the proper materials are not available so production is not interrupted
  • Make sure your work area is cleaned and maintained so required production can proceed
  • Notify packaging manager of any maintenance issues with the equipment
  • Notify the packaging manager if any items need to be reordered
  • Notify the packaging manager of any issues with other employees immediately

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • An eye for detail
  • Forklift operation (will train)
  • Ability to continuously lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to perform changeovers on bottling line (will train)
  • Must be able to work  flexible schedule when necessary
  • Work with integrity and work ethically

Temporary Cafe Event Staff
