Packaging Line Operator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in areas of packaging/warehouse duties in accordance with departmental duties and policies to ensure the quality of company products by performing the following duties and possessing the requirements
  • Assist and/ or perform in bottling line production and product packaging 
  • Assist and/or perform in the repacking of product
  • Assist and/or perform in all shipping and receiving duties as necessary
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Adhere to all company safety policies   
  • Assure that you are not attempting to operate equipment on which you are not properly trained
  • Running packaging equipment including setup changeover and shutdown
  • Assure equipment is well maintained and functioning properly
  • Perform operator-level maintenance on equipment
  • Notify the packaging lead of maintenance requirements above operator level
  • Confirm that all machines are locked out and tagged out when being serviced
  • Responsible for notifying the packaging manager if anybody is acting in an unsafe manner
  • Perform periodic visual checks to assure the quality of the finished product in accordance with the quality checklist
  • Correct any nonconforming packaging issues and notify the packaging lead or packaging manager of the issue
  • All operators must be present and ready to perform their duties by the scheduled time and available to work a minimum of 2 hours overtime if required
  • All breaks must be approved by the packaging lead
  • Inform the packaging lead if the proper materials are not available so production is not interrupted
  • Make sure your work area is cleaned and maintained so required production can proceed
  • Notify packaging manager of any maintenance issues with the equipment
  • Notify the packaging manager if any items need to be reordered
  • Notify the packaging manager of any issues with other employees immediately

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • An eye for detail
  • Forklift operation (will train)
  • Ability to continuously lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to perform changeovers on bottling line (will train)
  • Must be able to work  flexible schedule when necessary
  • Work with integrity and work ethically 

Regional Market Manager- Rockies

We are currently seeking a Regional Market Manager to oversee the CO/UT/SD region.  The preferred candidate will live in or be willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area.  Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute national sales strategy through effective leadership and management of direct reports.
  • Develop short and long term divisional business priorities and identify issues/opportunities across all trade channels.
  • Deliver division shipments, depletion, contribution and distribution/RoS objectives.
  • Manage divisional spend to budget and deliver ROI objectives.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships, ensuring focus and execution against company objectives and provide appropriate feedback and direction based on performance.
  • Develop and execute divisional sales and marketing programming ensuring consistency with company objectives.
  • Deliver execution of strategic brand plans, price positioning, consumer marketing programs and new product launches.
  • Develop and execute strategic alignment of wholesaler network
  • Develop  effective working relationship with senior distributor management teams driving strategic initiatives “top down”
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports.
  • Manage brand projects, brand budgeting; prepare and present branded presentations to external audiences.
  • Analyze performance to address variances and ensure that corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Forecast future shipment and depletions trends.
  • Provide management with market intelligence including sales trends, product developments and competitor activity, and recommend strategies to address these trends.
  • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of malt beverages.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 10 years of sales experience, including team management, managing distributors and retail, managing chain account activities.
  • Experience in managing luxury brands or high-end craft and specialty wine, beer or spirits brands
  • Strong alignment to company culture and values
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently and with limited direction
  • Results oriented and determined in the face of a challenge
  • Ability to manage a team and influence customers to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with management, peers and across functions.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into practical execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups
  • Ability to develop and interpret spend, performance and financial reports
  • Track record of success in commercial or sales positions managing a team of people and large customers
  • Willingness to travel for up to a week away from home and work out of normal hours and a good driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point.
