Sales Representative - Philadelphia

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end beer segment.  We are currently seeking a sales representative for Philadelphia.  We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401k, etc.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio
  • Motivate distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives
  • Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines across distribution channels
  • Identify accounts that are not being penetrated with Duvel USA products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
  • Conduct wait-staff / bartender educations, beer tastings, and beer dinners
  • Ensure proper merchandising of on- and off-premise accounts
  • Plan and execute on-premise promotions as permitted (note: evenings; weekend festivals)
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on- and off-premise
  • Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption
  • Be responsible for the allocation and use of point-of-sale materials
  • Collect data (e.g. pricing, distribution) as required
  • Compile and submit reports required for the sales division
  • Operate effectively within corporate and budgetary guidelines
  • Track and monitor progress in all identified accounts
  • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising. and promotion of malt beverages

 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One to two years malt beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a wine or beer distributor
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management at wholesale, as well as retail
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct trainings/promotions
  • Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
  • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results

Market Manager - Chicago

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end luxury beer segment. We are currently seeking a market manager to oversee the Chicago area and the state of Indiana. The preferred candidate will live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Chicago area. Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities of wholesalers within the Chicago area and in the state of Indiana, ensuring the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio

Director of Marketing - Boulevard Brewing Company

Founded in 1989, Boulevard Brewing Company has grown to become the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest. Our mission is simple: to produce fresh, flavorful beers using the finest traditional ingredients and the best of both old and new brewing techniques. As a key part of the Duvel Moortgat family, Boulevard is recognized as one of the finest breweries in the USA. We are now currently seeking a Director of Marketing to serve as the creative voice of the Boulevard brand. A love of craft beer is a must, as are stellar marketing & communication skills and the ability to inspire the best in others.

 This position will report to the US President and work as a member of the Management Committee to create and execute strong marketing programs for communications, brand building, innovation, public relations, media communications, event marketing & advertising. The ideal candidate will be a part of the Kansas City community.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspires, motivates, empowers, and develops the Marketing team members: brand marketing, innovation, sponsorship, social media, public relations, creative design, trade marketing, events, field marketing and community development
  • Develops and executes annual marketing and media plans
  • Oversees development of products, timing, and pricing for POS and merchandise
  • Works with Brewery Production, Graphic Design and Sales to develop new beer products, packaging, pricing, distribution, and promotion
  • Oversees assessment and selection of media outlets (digital, print, video, and radio)
  • Develops and manages Marketing budget
  • Creates and oversees all communications to build awareness, create an image of difference, gain coverage, and build brand loyalty on four levels: internal staff, distributor network, media contacts, and consumers
  • Creates and oversees all strategic and community partnerships and sponsorships

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • A love for craft beer
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of ten years brand marketing experience in a consumer packaged goods, B2B, or a related field, including a track record of outstanding success in leadership positions. Experience in beer, wine, spirits, and an understanding of US wholesaler distribution is valuable.
  • Proven record of developing recognized brands locally, nationally, and through social media
  • Ability to inspire and engage our customers, including both wholesale and retail
