Belgium Comes to Cooperstown 2010

Featuring Belgian-style beers from over fifty American Craft Breweries, as well as imported Belgian beers from many of the finest American importers. Well over 200 beers in all.
Friday, July 30th and Saturday, July 31st
Pricing is as follows:
VIP package= $190
Tasting ticket= $75
Camping pass= $30 (Included with VIP pass)
Friday night VIP dinner
6 pm to 10 pm
The kick off to BCTC is a decadent multi-course beer dinner, featuring great Belgian ales from Ommegang, Duvel, A’Chouffe, and Maredsous. 6-7pm is cocktail hour, and the sit-down dinner starts at 7pm. During dinner, there will be music and a special guest to give a speech.
VIP tickets include a seat at Friday’s 5-course dinner, a special movie on Friday night, free camping (one tent per-site for VIP, additional camping tickets may be purchased), a complimentary VIP Breakfast Saturday AM, a special 750mL of fine Belgian beer, and admission to the Saturday tasting and activities.
Saturday, July 31st
Gates open at 12 noon for those with camping passes
Tasting hours: 3 pm to 7 pm
Sample the best Belgian and Belgian-style ales in the world. 3 oz tastings of heavenly Belgian ales set to the background of the old hops farm that Ommegang is built on. Tour the world of Belgian beer and then tour the first farmstead brewery built in New York in over 100 years.

After party 8 pm-12 pm
Open to everyone. Goes until midnight featuring local food, rocking music, a bonfire, and even a late night movie on a huge screen Stay up late and talk about your new favorite beers around the bonfire, then retire to your campsite under the stars.
Camping Information:
Camping passes available but are very limited. Camping at the brewery grounds is the best way to enjoy the after-party without worry of where to go next. Come and set up your tent starting at 12noon on Saturday, July 31st. No dogs allowed, unfortunately.
Space for RV’s is extremely limited. If you are attending the event and would like to bring your RV, please contact John@ommegang.com to check on possibilities.

This celebration of Belgian beer culture is our annual festival of Belgian beers from all over the country and the world. We invite breweries and importers to come to our backyard and showcase their best Belgian and Belgian-style beers. Guests who come to our feast of yeast will sample rare exclusives, new favorites, and plenty of classic brews, as well as some interesting Ommegang exclusive brews. In addition to all the great beer, there will be delicious food, foot-stompin’ music, camping, and even movies under the stars.
